At the edge of the Pavillon de l'île, the urban garden is set up for the benefit of visitors who can learn about simple, effective and ecological gardening methods

In addition to the vegetable garden, visitors can discover the area of edible and medicinal plants, landscaping for pollinating plants and butterfly beds.

Built in 2017 in collaboration with the Centre des Moissons de Beauharnois, the island's vegetable garden aims to promote urban agriculture while sharing tips to observe at home for gardening and eating in an ecological and responsible manner.

Sale of crops on weekends; the amounts raised will be directly reinvested in educational projects surrounding ecological gardening.
