Free equipment to get moving, explore and enjoy the outdoors!
The circonflexe – Prêt-pour-bouger program aims to make the practice of physical, sporting and recreational activities more accessible to the entire Quebec population.
Thanks to this program, Héritage Saint-Bernard is making available two fixed service points where the public can borrow outdoor equipment free of charge this winter.
> Centre écologique Fernand-Seguin
During the winter, complete cross-country ski sets for adults and children, as well as snowshoes, can be rented at the centre écologique Fernand-Seguin. Thanks to the Petite Expé program of the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie and the Programme circonflexe of Loisir et Sport Montérégie, cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals are free for children 17 and under!
Rental center open Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as during the holiday season and school breaks (weather permitting).
> No online booking, on-site loan and use only.
> Proof of identity is required. Only a driver's license or health insurance card is accepted.
> Refuge faunique Marguerite-D’Youville
Thanks to the programme circonflexe, it is possible to try the snow scooter for free at the refuge faunique Marguerite-D’Youville (adult models only).
No reservation required, first come, first served. Loaned for use in the refuge faunique Marguerite-D’Youville only. A fee ($) applies for trail access.
