What if your next team activity had a positive impact on the environment?
Join us for a day dedicated to preserving our local biodiversity. Héritage Saint-Bernard invites you to take action to protect our environment by combating buckthorn, an invasive plant that threatens our ecosystems.
Why buckthorn ?
By forming very dense stands, buckthorn prevents young trees and wildflowers from growing, which reduces biodiversity and alters the habitats of many animal species. By joining us for this event, you’ll actively contribute to the first step in restoring ecological balance by creating a space where local flora can thrive once again.
The activity includes:
- Welcome and activities led by our team
- Presentation on invasive species and conservation issues
- Training on removal techniques
- Buckthorn removal
- Equipment provided: Knee protection (knee pads or a piece of gardening foam), gloves, and various types of shovels.
- Lemonade or coffee
- Daily access to the refuge
May to November, depending on conditions
- Adaptable schedule depending on the needs of the group.
- Allow between 2 and 3 hours for the activity.
- Minimum : 10 participants
- Maximum : 25 participants per group
- We can accommodate larger groups upon request.
35 $ + tax per participant
Enhance your experience with an aperitif
35 $ + tax per participant (Vin blanc, rouge, gin et bière avec des croustilles et salsa)
- Porter des vêtements confortables adaptés au travail extérieur.
- Chaussures fermées ou bottes de randonnée recommandées.
- Prévoir une bouteille d’eau.
- L’activité a lieu beau temps, mauvais temps (sauf en cas de conditions météorologiques extrêmes).
- La position d’arrachage peut nécessiter de se tenir sur les genoux – protection pour les genoux fournie.
- L’horaire et le déroulement de l’activité peuvent être adaptés selon les objectifs de votre organisation.
