About the activity

In the context of Earth Day, Héritage Saint-Bernard invites the public to celebrate the Earth in the heart of the most beautiful natural settings in the region.

This year, a campaign is launched to combat invasive exotic plants. Considered a threat to biodiversity, these plants degrade habitats and harm native species on île Saint-Bernard.

I'm gathering information for nature.
On-site, a naturalist guide will lead an interpretive booth to highlight the impact of invasive exotic plants on the biodiversity of île Saint-Bernard.
→ This activity does not require any registration!

Invasive exotic plants are considered a threat to biodiversity and the overall health of ecosystems. On île Saint-Bernard, they degrade habitats and harm native species.

As part of Earth Day, Héritage Saint-Bernard is inviting participants to join its campaign to control invasive exotic plants by pulling out Alliaria officinalis.

By taking part in this event, participants help preserve the ecological balance of the region.

This activity takes place in the heart of a natural environment and requires good physical condition from participants.

The activity is open to all, aged 12 and over, and is entirely free, including access to the wildlife refuge.
