The Marguerite-D’Youville Wildlife Refuge is opening its doors to the public to celebrate Héritage Saint-Bernard’s 40 years of commitment to protecting nature and biodiversity.
Throughout the day, visitors are invited to explore the trails, meet a team of dedicated staff, and learn—through informational booths—about the concrete steps the organization is taking to preserve this exceptional natural environment.
Whether you’re a hiker, a nature lover, or a passionate advocate for biodiversity, this day offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of the refuge, learn more about its flora and fauna, and celebrate a shared legacy shaped by four decades of dedication.
A day out for the whole family
To enhance the visit, a self-guided scavenger hunt is available for families, inviting both children and adults to explore the biodiversity of the wildlife refuge.
Curious visitors can also enjoy the audio guide available along the trail. By scanning the QR codes posted on the wooden signs, you can listen to the quide directly on your phone and learn more about the history of the refuge, its habitats, and the animal and plant species found there.
Observe, learn, and marvel: everything you need for a wonderful day in nature.
