The rest stops and picnic areas offer exceptional views of important natural environments, as well as the St. Lawrence River and Montreal. The footbridges, quays and other facilities will delight nature lovers, ornithologists and photographers on the lookout!

Access to the wildlife refuge is via the Pavillon de l'île. Fees ($) in effect for access to the trails.

Navette fluviale Châteauguay—Lachine

The shuttle goes between Île Saint-Bernard in Châteauguay and Lachine, therefore allowing some forty cyclists and pedestrians to go from shore to shore while enjoying a relaxing moment on Saint-Louis Lake and the Châteauguay River.

This service is made possible by Navark in co-operation with the municipalities of Lachine and Châteauguay.

Reduced mobility

Designated spaces for vehicles of people with reduced mobility are reserved in the island parking lot. The artisan kiosks are all accessible to wheelchairs, since they are located along an asphalt path. EXO shuttles, allowing access to the island from various parking points, are also suitable. Bathrooms for people with disabilities will be accessible at all times at the Pavillon de l’île.
